OUR SERVICES
As pioneers of local assistance in Cameroon, we have developed a range of services that are sometimes original, but always adapted to the needs and realities on the ground.
LOCAL ASSISTANCE
MEDICAL TRANSPORT FOR PRIMARY EVACUATION
SANITARY EVACUATION
AP24®
Local Assistance is the most demanding service of all, because it responds to a very wide range of expectations on a daily basis: from the most essential emergency or necessity, to a simple request for convenience or comfort.
To meet this wide range of needs, AP24® adapts to the circumstances, drawing on the human qualities and skills available: presence, common sense, diligence, composure, probity, respect for rules, availability, a sense of responsibility, local knowledge, empathy and altruism.
AP24® is truly a local, professional assistance service that meets our customers’ expectations and simplifies their day-to-day lives.
PASS24®
A multidisciplinary team has adopted the original and innovative vision of its author to set up a specific environment around the PASS24® mobile application and build a system that revolutionizes the 24/7 processing and management of requests for care, first in Cameroon, then elsewhere.
Respecting medical secrecy and confidentiality, the management of operations and costs is transparent, traceable and respectful of the commitments of all stakeholders (patient, caregiver, payer).
The success of PASS24® is certain in Cameroon, and is gradually becoming so elsewhere, thanks to respect for the fundamental interests of the triptych of care:
1. the patient: benefiting from the best possible care
2. the payer (insurer, employer or mutual insurance company): guaranteeing his or her beneficiaries quality care at controlled costs
3. the health-care provider: practice his or her profession under normal conditions.
The main advantages of PASS24® are obvious:
– 24/24 service continuity: illness or accident knows no time or day
– Reactivity: respond quickly or reject a claim to avoid unnecessary and lengthy disputes.
– Transparency of costs: the right of the payer and the beneficiary of care to know the reality of the expenses incurred concerning them.
– Speed of invoice processing: in the interests of the Care Provider and Care Payer.
Consequences:
1. Significant improvement in round-the-clock patient response.
2. Real-time visibility of expenditure and the ability to react if necessary.
3. Reduced abuse and attempted fraud to keep healthcare costs under control
ASSIST@DOM
Treatment at home with minimum safety guarantees. This approach, if medically authorized, is becoming increasingly widespread and is both qualitative and economical, as it :
– spares patients the disorientation and inconvenience of hospitalization
– Enhances patient comfort and confidentiality
– Allows real visibility of costs – “see what you’re paying for”.
Assis@dom® meets formal written requirements, particularly medical ones
APHMR
This service meets national and international safety and security requirements for airports and aeronautical navigation.
We have been present at Douala and Nsimalen airports since 1998, assisting disabled and reduced-mobility passengers of our airline customers.
This is an extremely demanding service (requiring, among other things, 24/24 availability and responsiveness, as well as the qualifications and human qualities of our staff), which must ensure the comfort and serenity of these passengers, and facilitate their movement around airports in strict compliance with stringent regulations.
A professional organisation based around a 24/7 Assistance Centre, served by a multidisciplinary assistance team, available and equipped to find the best solution for each situation.
Local Assistance relies on a network of the most trusted service providers.
MEDICAL TRANSPORT FOR PRIMARY EVACUATION
Even for short periods, medical transport is always delicate and highly demanding, requiring the utmost vigilance and professionalism at all times.
There’s no room for improvisation or amateurism in this type of mission: we’ve had to prove it thousands of times, including in disaster situations.
Very early on, our company had its quality management system for this service certified to the ISO 9002: 1994 and ISO 9001: 2000 standards in 2001 by BVQI and 2003 by AFAQ respectively.
SANITARY EVACUATION
The organisation of a medical evacuation is a complex set of requirements for different professions involving several skills, resources and means in land and air transport, extra-hospital medicine, care establishments on departure and arrival, the various obligatory passages at airports, etc.
This expertise was also certified in 2001 to ISO 9002: 1994 and ISO 9001: 2000 standards.
In 36 years, we have successfully completed more than 3,000 operations of this type.
